Installation materials.
Everything that bonds, levels, seals and finishes a CERAFINI surface, on the wall, the floor and the façade.
CERAFINI supplies the installation materials that sit behind a tiled surface in Lagos and Abidjan: tile adhesives and grouts, levelling and uncoupling systems, waterproofing, profiles and movement joints, and installation tools. Each is specified with the tile, the substrate and the exposure, so the bond holds in coastal humidity and heat.
Two studios, one technical team.
The range
Four families, one system.
A coordinated set of installation products, specified with the surface so the bond, the levelling and the finish are matched to the tile, the substrate and the exposure.
Adhesives, mortars & grouts
Cementitious and reaction-resin adhesives, thin-bed mortars and matched grouts for porcelain, large-format slabs and natural stone.
View systemsLevelling, uncoupling & waterproofing
Tile-levelling systems for a flat, lippage-free finish; uncoupling membranes against substrate movement; and waterproofing for wet areas and terraces.
View systemsProfiles & finishing systems
Edge profiles, movement and expansion joints, stair nosings, floor transitions and entrance matting, the systems that finish and protect the floor and its edges.
View systemsInstallation Tools & Accessories
Professional tools, levelling systems, suction lifters, cutting equipment, fixings, spacers, tapes, and installation accessories for porcelain tiles and large-format slabs.

Before you specify
Which tile adhesive should I use for large-format porcelain?
Large-format and vitrified porcelain absorb almost no water, so a standard cement mortar does not bond reliably. Use a deformable cementitious adhesive classed for porcelain, or a reaction-resin adhesive where the substrate or exposure calls for it, applied with double buttering.
Do I need waterproofing under tiles in a bathroom or on a terrace?
Yes. Tiles and grout are not a waterproof layer on their own. A waterproofing membrane under the tile protects the substrate in wet rooms, on balconies and on terraces exposed to rain.
What is a tile-levelling system?
Clips and wedges that hold neighbouring tiles at the same height while the adhesive sets, removing lippage between large-format slabs. They are removed once the floor has cured.
Why are movement joints needed?
Tiled surfaces expand and contract with heat and moisture. Movement and expansion joints, placed at perimeters, over structural joints and at set intervals, let the surface move without cracking the tiles or the grout.
Do you supply installation materials with the tiles?
Yes. Our studios in Lagos and Abidjan specify the adhesive, grout, membranes and profiles together with the tile, so the materials on site are matched to the surface being installed.
